The Norwegian Ocean Observation Laboratory is collaborating closely with a number of industrial partners. The Ocean Lab is collaborating with the subsea industry on both technological development, operational development and in competence development. Locally in Bergen, The Ocean Lab has access to a world-leading cluster of companies and competency pools within subsea technology and operation. The Ocean Lab is increasingly getting involved in concrete projects where partners such as Swire Seabed and Dof Subsea exchange expertise and even equipment with the ocean lab. The industry out-reach is enhancing innovation and capabilities mutually – both the Ocean Lab and partners are experiencing great value in this approach.
